First, Upin Ipin shown just only for Ramadan month in 2007 to educate the children about the mean of Ramadan month.
Nizam believes that Upin Ipin with background of village, it will interesting the world, like Doraemon in Japan. And the popularity of Les' Copaque began from "Upin Ipin".
To make "Upin Ipin", Les' Copaque used CGI Software Autodesk Maya. In a session of animation software in 2009, The Head Designer of Les' Copaque, Fuad Md. Din told, " The purpose we make this film because it is easy". And then, in 2009, Nizam, Safwan, Anas left Les' Copaque. They made a new production studio named Animonsta Studios, but they still produced "Upin Ipin".
